Translation tools

Computer assisted translation tools are our greatest ally in the translation process. The basic function of these tools is to create a database or translation memory in which, segment by segment, the texts translated are accumulated together with their equivalent in the target language. In other words, on one side, the original document is stored divided into segments and, on the other, its corresponding translation. Later translations are then progressively added to this database. Similarly, the customer's specific terms are extracted and a glossary of specific terminology is drawn up. Thus, the memories are always kept, updated, and revised.

Machine translation

Machine translation or MT is a translation system based on algorithms and statistical prediction of the components to translate. This system can be combined with traditional translation in which a professional revises, component by component, the translations obtained using the automatic MT system. The revision of machine translated texts is called "post-editing", and the post-editor is the alternative to the traditional translator.

Before embarking on any project, we carry out an exhaustive analysis of the document to translate and draw up a closed budget that is sent to the customer.


We decouple the text from the formatting and create a document in plain text so it can be handled with advanced computer assisted translation tools.


A translator native in the target language specialised in the subject matter of the text performs the translation.

3Revision Q&A

An IT system detects any possible inconsistencies in the translation. These are then eliminated by a reviewer who also rules out any typographical and/or grammatical errors, etc.


We return the document to its original format, giving it back its initial appearance. In this step, we always use the same version of the design program used by the customer.

5Delivery to the customer

Once the translation process has come to an end, we deliver the document to the customer through our Intranet, by email or via FTP.

6Updating the memory

Finally, the customer's memories are updated, incorporating the segments that have been translated, the amendments, etc. The larger the memory, the more matches that may come up in future texts and, therefore, the greater the discounts for the customer.
